It also provides capital-raising solutions for corporate clients through ipo and follow-on offerings, as well as debt capital markets, including buyouts, acquisitions, growth capital financings, and recapitalizations, as well as information processing services. In addition, it facilitates repurchase and reverse-repurchase agreements in proprietary trading activities; and covers short positions and settles other securities obligations to accommodate customers' needs and finance its inventory positions. The Other segment offers payment processing services, online retail trade, e-commerce services, online ticket sales, telecommunications and media services. It also engages in proprietary securities trading activities. Furthermore, it provides its flagship technology product, which is the proprietary Tradernet software platform. It was formerly known as BMB Munai, Inc. and changed its name to Freedom Holding Corp. The company was incorporated in 1981 and is based in New York, New York.
